This Sealed System Boiler (SSB) Eco thermal store allows the primary circuit to be closed and pressurised, while still providing connections for vented inputs such as solid fuel, wood burning stoves and AGA’s.
These inputs can all be used separately or in conjunction with each other, giving great flexibility in choosing the most economical and low carbon high efficiency fuel available at the time.
This also means the space heating can be attached to either the vented heating side or the sealed pressurised fossil fuel, gas / oil boiler circuit.
Thermal stores of this type are ideal for situations where a property has an existing sealed system, being provided by a gas or oil boiler and a solid fuel appliance is being introduced.
