This Solar Sealed System Boiler (SSB) thermal store creates a hot water only store, drawing heat from both an indirect sealed system gas or oil fired boiler as well as solar thermal, while still retaining a boiler powered space heating circuit.

By having the primary circuit sealed it allows for more flexible siting of the unit, as it can be installed on any floor of the property. In having this option it allows for radiators to be positioned above or below the store.

The Solar SSB unit comes equipped with a highly efficient solar coil positioned at the lowest point of the cylinder and because the heating is controlled separately by the boiler, the energy harvested from the solar panels can then solely be dedicated to the hot water demand.
