This Solar Open Vented Boiler (OVB) thermal store is the perfect choice for use with low carbon, low cost fuels, while still maintaining a high level of efficiency.

These units allow for two of the most cost effective renewable energies to be integrated into the same system. These come with a low level high efficiency coil for solar panel connection, but they also include a provision to be connected to a solid fuel / wood burning / AGA option.

Offering the perfect combination of heat sources as solar thermal performs best in the summer months when heating is not a priority, but hot water is still required, while the solid fuel takes over in the winter when space heating demand is at its peak.
